Mike Dechant's film featuring our song "Soldier" is being screened this Tuesday, July 24th, in Washington, D.C. The documentary, about D-Day recreated as a paintball game, will air at 7:30 at the Silver Spring AFI. Go check it out and help support the local D.C. film-making community. Get tickets here.

We just spent this past weekend with producer/engineer/musician Anthony Molina at his studio in upstate New York working on overdubs for the new Dead Heart Bloom record. We are getting close to finishing overdubs and being able to move to the mixing stage of the process. We'll post photos/video from the sessions soon.

New song from Dead Heart Bloom. Check out the song "Soldier", written for Mike DeChant's documentary "Soldiers of Paint", to be released later this year. This is the version that will be heard in the film. You can listen and download for free here.

This Sunday, March 18th, at 3pm, The Washington Group Cultural Fund Sunday Music Series presents an afternoon devoted to Boris' classical work. Washington D.C. and New York based musicians include: the MIVOS Quartet, guitarist Anthony Pirog, cellist Rubin Kodheli, and pianist Zdanna Krawciw-Skalsky. Concert is at The Lyceum in Alexandria, VA.

Check out this new song from an upcoming acoustic record we are releasing later this year. The song, called "Call It An Afternoon", can be streamed and downloaded for free.

Update: we've finished the song for Mike DeChant's film "Soldiers of Paint" and will post that version of the song sometime in March or April as a sneak preview (it will also appear on a future LP). We'll also be posting a new song from a planned ambient-acoustic release we will be doing this year. More on that soon as well. Last, our proper follow up LP to "Strange Waves" is coming along nicely. We're in the process of writing, rehearsing, and recording it. Keep an eye on this space for more updates.
